교과목개요
생산관리는 기업의 생산활동을 계획하고, 조직하며, 통제하는 기능을 의미하며 경영관리과정과 생산이라는 부문활동을 결합한 것이라 할 수 있다. 한때 생산관리라 하면 제조업의 생산을 주로 말하던 시대가 있었다. 그러나 광범위한 비제조업 기업활동이 출현함에 따라 생산관리 기능의 범주는 크게 확대되었다. 오늘날 생산관리라는 용어는 투입을 완성된 재화나 서비스로 변환하는 과정을 체계적으로 지휘 통제하는 일을 말한다. 이 기능은 영리기업이든 비영리조직이든 재화와 서비스를 생산하는 모든 시스템에 적용될 수 있다.
본 교과목은 두 학기 과정으로 이루어져 있으며 생산관리분야 교과목들을 이수하기 위한 선수과목이다. 이번 학기 과정에서는 생산관리의 제 의사결정 문제를 개괄적으로 살펴 이들간의 관계에 대해서 알아본 다음 특히 생산계획 및 통제분야의 문제들에 대해서 깊이 있게 학습한다.
교수목표
1. To provide the students with an overview of the suppy chain activities of an organization
2. To understand supply, operations, and logistics functions within manufacturing and service organizations
3. To develop the students’ critical thinking abilities for making strategic decisions in business operations
4. To be able to use quantitative and qualitative tools for solving supply chain related problems
주요 학습내용 및 수업진행방법
Classes consist of lectures, group activities, and discussions. For group activities, students may discuss a case or solve problems in groups and submit their work at the end of the class.
학습 성과 평가방법
Attendance + Mid term + Final + Assignments + Quiz.
-Attendance: Roll call at the beginning of classes from time to time
-Mid-term & Final: A combination of multiple-choices, short answers, essays, and problem solving.
-Assignments: Mostly individual assignments in the form of online multiple-choices. Online assignment will not be available after due dates.
-Quiz: Students will submit their work on in-class group activities and their group work will be evaluated.
